Currently, the Department of Public Safety’s Forensic Laboratory, the Albuquerque Police Department Crime Laboratory, the NM Department of Health’s Scientific Laboratory Division, and the University of New Mexico’s Office of the Medical Investigator have identified joint priorities within the 2016 Statewide Forensic Strategic Plan for improving the quality and timeliness of forensic science or medical examiner services throughout New Mexico.

Eligibility is limited to States and units of local government who apply through the State Administering Agency, the NMDPS.
