La Luz, NM – On December 14, 2024, the New Mexico State Police Investigations Bureau was requested to investigate a homicide in La Luz. Investigators learned that at around 8:48 p.m., New Mexico State Police officers were dispatched to 85 Appler Road in reference to a breaking and entering call where a shot had been fired by the homeowner.
