Los Lunas, NM – On October 31, 2023, at around 5:30 p.m., the New Mexico State Police investigated a single vehicle fatal crash on SR 6 west of Los Lunas.
The initial investigation indicated that a 2004 Toyota passenger vehicle was traveling westbound on SR 6 near mile marker 3. For reasons still under investigation, the Toyota left the roadway and rolled over. William Archuleta (20) of San Rafael, NM, was pronounced deceased on scene by the Office of the Medical Investigator.
Seatbelts were not utilized properly, and alcohol was not a determining factor in this crash.
This crash is being investigated by the New Mexico State Police.
