Guadalupe County, NM – On September 8, 2023, at about 4:17 a.m. the New Mexico State Police investigated a fatal, single-vehicle crash, that occurred on Highway 60 east of Vaughn.
The initial investigation indicated a black Mercedes sedan driven by Bernabe Ruacho (61) of Vaughn, NM, was travelling westbound on U.S. Highway 60 near milepost 286. For unknown reasons Mr. Ruacho’s vehicle left the roadway and rolled over numerous times. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased on the scene by the Office of the Medical Investigator.
The crash is being investigated by the New Mexico State Police.
