Tularosa, NM – On March 5, 2023, at around 10:50 p.m., the New Mexico State Police investigated a fatal crash involving a side by side off road vehicle in Tularosa, NM.
The initial investigation indicated that a 2021 Polaris side by side, driven by Aubrey Pinson, (33) of Tularosa was traveling northeast on Sabinat Lane. For reasons still under investigation, the Polaris left the roadway and struck a road sign and telephone pole. Ms. Pinson was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
Alcohol does appear to be a contributing factor and seatbelts do not appear to have been properly utilized.
This crash is being investigated by the New Mexico State Police.
